Penductors are a smaller style of eductor. Eductors are capable of increasing the output by as much as 5 times the amount of water that is forced through them. A special venturi design is used by forcing water through a small orifice. The suctions is so strong that it draws about 3-4 gallons of water through the unit for ever gallon that is forced through the orifice. Penductors are 3.875" long x 2.375" wide and should be submerged several inches under water to prevent a vortex. It is best to use a Penductor in conjunction with a pressure rated pump, otherwise the efficiency of Penductor will be reduced. On average, Peductors work best with a minimum flow of 400-500 gph. How many Penductors can you use on a pump? | Pump Output | # of Penductors | | 500 GPH | 1 | | 1000 GPH | 2 | | 1500 GPH | 3 | | 2000 GPH | 4 | NOW AVAILABLE: Double Ended Modular Pipe Sockets Now you can connect a Penductor to modular pipe for better flow direction!
